Payment Policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2025 | Last Updated: May 13, 2026

1. Invoice Generation

Invoices are generated automatically by the TwoWayAI platform upon confirmation of delivery. Specifically, when a driver uploads proof of delivery (POD) for a job, the system creates an invoice record at that moment. The invoice reflects the agreed-upon gross price for the job as entered at job creation.

2. Standard Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices are subject to Net 30 payment terms. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. The invoice date is the date the proof of delivery was recorded in the system.

3. Locked Financial Records

Once proof of delivery is uploaded and an invoice is created, the financial record for that job is locked. The gross price, driver payout, and margin recorded at that point cannot be altered by any user, including business administrators. This policy exists to protect the integrity of financial records and prevent billing disputes.

4. Invoice Statuses

Invoices move through the following statuses:

  • Pending: Invoice has been created and is awaiting transmission to the customer.
  • Sent: Invoice has been delivered to the customer through your billing process.
  • Paid: Payment has been received and recorded in the platform.
  • Disputed: Customer has raised a concern; the invoice is under review.

5. Payment Processing & Platform Fee

By default, TwoWayAI records and tracks invoice status only — payment collection occurs outside the platform using your existing billing tools and processes. Businesses on eligible plans may optionally connect a Stripe account (Stripe Connect) to collect invoice payments through Stripe payment links. When a customer pays through a Stripe payment link, a 1% TwoWayAI platform fee is applied to the transaction amount, in addition to Stripe's own processing fees. Funds are paid to your connected Stripe account minus these fees.

6. Driver Payouts

Driver payout amounts are recorded at job creation and locked upon delivery. TwoWayAI does not facilitate or process driver payments. Payout records exist within the platform for operational tracking and reporting purposes only. Actual disbursement is the responsibility of the business.

7. Disputes

Because financial records are locked upon delivery, disputes related to pricing must be resolved through your external billing process. TwoWayAI provides a record of the agreed-upon price as entered at job creation and confirmed at delivery. The platform does not adjudicate billing disputes between businesses and their customers.

8. Platform Subscription

Fees for access to the TwoWayAI platform are separate from the freight invoices tracked within it. Platform subscription pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are governed by your account agreement with TwoWayAI.
